Glass Shorts

In the center of a high-rise building
A donut-shaped hole becomes a courtyard
There is a glass-walled break room opposite.
Reflecting everyday life

Young man buying canned coffee at a vending machine
Women sitting on chairs and talking
A gentleman with a cane on his cheek and vague thoughts
Standing at a round table and blowing a cigarette

Looking at the rest room on each floor
Glass shorts appear and disappear
If there is a speech bubble, put the words
The development of joy, sorrow, and turning around
Feel free
I can't help but think
Transparent shorts are rolling everywhere
Waiting to come back to life


ガラスの短編

高層ビルの中央に
ドーナツ状の穴が中庭となって
向かい側ガラス張りの休憩室が
日常を映し出す

自販機で缶コーヒーを買う青年
椅子に座り話しこむ女性たち
頬杖をつきぼんやり考えごとの紳士
円テーブルに立ち煙草を吹かす輩

各階の休憩室を眺めると
ガラスの短編が現れては消えてゆく
吹き出しがあれば言葉を入れて
喜怒哀楽・起承転結の展開を
自由気ままに
考えずにはいられない
透明な短編はどこでも転がって
息を吹き返すのを待っている



明日はチェコフェスティバルへ。人形劇が楽しみ。
